Kimbea is still a young adult, but she is ready for what lies ahead. Teling a dramatic story of survival, as more than one and half million animals pursue the rains in an endless search for food and water over almost 2000 miles. At 4 years old, Kimbea (a Swahili name meaning Run) is still a young adult, but this is her fifth annual migration and she is prepared for what lies ahead. She must avoid lions, cheetahs and hyenas, survive a treacherous river crossing; escape grass fires on the parched plains, protect her new-born calf from predation, and survive the threats of starvation and dehydration during the long months of migration.
