Kate is just beginning to enjoy herself for the first time in her life. It's the little things that she can appreciate. She discovers how it feels to celebrate her youngest son Ryan's 16th birthday and is about to embark on the world of dating.

Told over the course of 12 weeks we see how Kate strives to keep her head above water as she struggles with problems that develop at home. A story about going through a crisis of faith when faith is the only thing keeping you alive, and coming out the other side.
