All There With My Cough Drops - The Story Of Jimmy Clitheroe

Thirty years after his death, Jimmy Clitheroe is best-remembered for his long-running radio series, The Clitheroe Kid.

Less well known, however, is Jimmy's long apprenticeship in Variety.

His cousin, Irene OXFORD, owns unique recordings of the diminutive comedian performing on-stage, and Jimmy's former co-star, Brian Trueman (who played Harry Whittle in The Clitheroe Kid), joins Irene to listen to some of these cherished recordings.
