Three artists take over three shows as part of Art Is Everywhere on BBC 6 Music. David Shrigley, Mira Calix and Martin Creed take over the Sunday Hour and play music that inspires their work, music they listen to when working, or just music they love. The first episode comes from legendary visual artist David Shrigley recorded at his studio in Brighton, David plays music from Sister Sledge, Violent Femmes, Yoko Ono, The Fall and Pavement.

To complement this year's Art is Everywhere season on BBC Radio 6 Music, another chance to hear programmes from 2018, in which three artists took over.

David Shrigley, Mira Calix and Martin Creed shared the music that inspires their work, music they listen to when working, or just music they love.

In this episode, Mira Calix took over over the decks. Mira is an award-winning artist and composer signed to Warp Records. She considers sound a sculptural material. Her work explores the manipulation of the material into visible, physical forms through multi-disciplinary installations, sculpture, video and performance works.
