Three artists take over three shows as part of Art Is Everywhere on BBC 6 Music. David Shrigley, Mira Calix and Martin Creed take over the Sunday Hour and play music that inspires their work, music they listen to when working, or just music they love. This week it's Martin Creed. Martin won the Turner Prize in 2001 for exhibitions during the preceding year, with the jury praising his audacity for exhibiting a single installation, Work No. 227: The lights going on and off. Martin Currently has an exhibition, Toast comprising new sculpture, painting, drawing, tapestry, video, live action and music and a gig at the Barbican of his old and new musical works.
Artist Martin Creed plays music that matters to him and his art.
