It's 21 years since Hyde Park opened its gates to the BBC Proms audience. Initially an experiment, the first show was a huge success and Proms in the Park is now established as one of the musical highlights of the London season. Today Proms in the Park events take place all round the UK with venues in Swansea, Glasgow and Enniskillen - that's more that 60,000 people joining together for the big singalong finale. This year's Hyde Park event broadcasts live from 5pm with Ken Bruce setting the scene and Tony Blackburn introducing live performances from Texas, Five Guys Named Moe; pianist Peter Bence and Steps from the Hyde Park stage.
