This programme sees the trio joining forces for the first time to produce such classics as `The Birth of the Blues', `Varsity Drag', and `Lucky in Love'.
In Hollywood, the trio write a spoof song overnight for a Jolson film.
The actor sings the song `straight' , and Sonny Boy' becomes the one of the team's greatest ever successes.
This programme sees Lew Brown and Ray Henderson return to Broadway where they come up with yet more hit songs including `Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree', whilst Buddy De Sylva becomes a producer and enjoys a string of success in Hollywood and on Broadway.
