This Is Radio Clash : Episode 2 - Part 2 | 20220511 | On Boxing Day 2013, Mick Jones, Paul Simonon and Topper Headon from the Clash treated 6Music listeners to two hours of their favourite tunes and some rock n' roll tales in their first ever radio show: This is Radio Clash. A mysterious character called Bernie also makes some special disguised appearances. Formed in 1976 in the vanguard of British punk, the Clash would soon become one of the most iconic rock bands of their era, a symbol of intelligent protest and stylish rebellion in the turbulent years of the late Seventies and early Eighties. Cracking the Top 10 in America in 1982 - before splitting three years later - they were to leave behind an extraordinary recorded legacy. FIrst broadcast in 2013 and repeated as part of a 6 Music Artist Collection. Mick Jones, Paul Simonon and Topper Headon present This Is Radio Clash on Boxing Day 2013. | |
