The Coronation Service

20030601A service to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, from Westminster Abbey.

Last year the nation celebrated the Jubilee of Her Majesty's accession and reign; this service marks fifty years since the Coronation itself.

In the presence of Her Majesty the Queen and members of the Royal Family, the service will be a reflection on Coronation, with its ceremonies of commitment, dedication and service.

The service is led by the Dean, the Very Reverend Dr Wesley Carr, with the Choir of Westminster Abbey, organist and Master of the Choristers James O'Donnell, and sub-organist Andrew Reid.

Commentator: Nicholas Witchell.
