| City Of Hands | Playwright Anthony Minghella introduces the first festival of international radio drama. Over the next six weeks, BBC Radio 4 and other ENGLISH broadcasters are presenting a series of plays from Canada, Hong Kong, South Africa and the UNITED STATES. The first of the series, `City of Hands', by Stephen Bain and Deborah Tucker, was originally broadcast on New Zealand Public Radio. A group of people enter a competition to win a car, the winner being whoever can keep a hand on the car longest. As the days progress, the competition takes on a surreal quality.
