Today's programme includes Mozart's ravishing String Quartet in G, K387, plus one of the pinnacles of Romantic violin repertoire, Brahms's Third Violin Sonata, Op 108. To whet the appetite for his all-Debussy performances in the rest of the week, Steven Osborne ends today's programme with a hazy, Impressionistic improvisation of his own.

Two contrasting piano works by Debussy begin today's programme, in the virtuoso hands of Steven Osborne - his grand, Watteau-inspired masterpiece, l'Isle Joyeuse and the charming suite Children's Corner. Chlo뀀 Hanslip and Florian Mitrea explore a work Prokofiev originally conceived for the voice, before the Chiaroscuro Quartet show off their acclaimed expertise in High Classical repertoire in Haydn's String Quartet in D minor, Op 76 No 2.

An all-Dartington Festival programme today, as another of Debussy's works for solo piano - his rarely-heard D'Un Cahier d'Esquisses is paired with another of Steven Osborne's own, highly-evocative improvisations. This pair of piano works bisects two very different, highly-Romantic violin sonatas. Dvorak's charming Op 100 Sonatina was the last chamber work written on his famous journey to the USA - and features melodies inspired by his encounters with traditional American music. By contrast, Prokofiev's Op 94 sonata was originally written for flute, but rearranged for violin whilst the composer was evacuated to the Ural Mountains at the height of World War Two.

We end this week's selection with a pinnacle of the chamber repertoire - Schubert's 'Death and the Maiden' Quartet, D810. It's preceded by a final masterpiece from Steven Osborne's journey through Debussy's piano repertory - Estampes, which features fleeting, hazy visions of East Asia, Spain and Debussy's native France.
