Ahead of the Songs of Scott Walker Prom on Tuesday 25th July, there's a chance to hear an episode of the Radio 2 Arts Programme first broadcast in January 1996, in which Allan Clarke, lead singer of the Hollies, presents a look at the career of a reluctant star, from juvenile leads on Broadway, through the hits of the Walker Brothers to his 1995 album Tilt. With the help of fellow Walker Brother, Gary Leeds , former agent Ed Bicknell, engineer and producer Peter Walsh and Scott's friends from the 1960s Dave Dee and Ralph Gurnett.
