SBH:Farming: Gill Powell talks to two farmers and their families about their venture into farmhouse Bed and Breakfast. From The Farming Week.

PRE:Act. Canning showing her rooms. Heathcote: Farm Holiday Bureau and what it does. 9 year old C.Grindle: helps as waitress in her parents' farmhouse. R. Grindle: likes being able to put farmers' case directly to members of public who stay at his farm. Heathcote: it's direct link between food consumer and food producer. R.Grindle: B and B is not easy option to farming and it's not answer to farming problems; you have to like meeting the public. Mrs. Grindle: examples of guests' behaviour. Mr. Canning: could have increased his milk unit, but it would not have been worth the effort; B and B holiday cottages were better option. R.Grindle: B and B is contribution, but he is committed to farming. Mrs. Grindle: B and B is enjoyable small business.
