The V&A are holding a special one day exhibition today in collaboration with the BBC Music "My Generation" season focusing on the 1960s. Called The 60s Explosion: The Decade That Changed the World, the museum is running a series of free talks and interviews with key players from the period and cultural historians who will explore this momentous decade. The exhibition will feature be a rare opportunity to see memorabilia of the era from the EMI Archive, and BBC Four's People's History Of Pop team will be stationed at the museum for the day, inviting the public to bring along their own music memorabilia from the 1960s to the present day.
