Initially the couple take refuge with Aunt Grace in LONDON, their heads full of dreams, but they soon find themselves confronted by a new set of problems, not only where to live and how to support themselves, but also Will's obsession with designing and piloting the new flying machines which terrify Christina.
As Will starts to make a reputation in the flying world and he and Christina make plans for their wedding, the world begins to intrude.
Archduke Ferdinand is killed in Sarajevo and the start of the First World War becomes inevitable.
