|Tom Ingall tells the story of the restored Flying Scotsman's journey from London to York.|
An Englishman and a Scotsman take a train. Written, presented and produced by Tom Ingall. The programme marks the return to steam (and to hauling trains on the East Coast Main Line) of the Flying Scotsman. The iconic locomotive has been restored by the National Railway Museum in York at a cost of four million pounds. To mark the occasion it hauled a special train from London to York on the 25th of February 2016. This programme tells the story of the day weaving in the remarkable history of the worlds most famous steam engine.
