Fantastic Tales [bbc7]

First broadcast from 20070225 to 20070401. (* = BBC7).

Yet another new commission, this is a series of five tales from around the world, exploring the weird and the wonderful. Over the next five Sundays, the stories take us as far afield as Japan, Delhi, Eastern Europe, the Welsh border and America. The first tale, Hell Screen, is a chilling horror set in medieval Japan, written by Ryunosuke Akutagawa and read by Togo Igawa.

  • This series was titled Fantastic Tales, I added the [bbc7] to show it wasn't connected to the earlier series.
  • Delhi originally listed under its own name, rather than being an episode.
