|20080526||The story of an immigrant who has chosen to return home.|
Fehmi Islami left Kosovo in December 1998, a casualty of war suffering from severe injuries. He arrived in England in a lorry and claimed asylum on entry. Now, after nearly ten years of living in the UK, he is going home to a free and independent Kosovo. Fehmi has spent almost every day of the last nine years working in order to pay his way in England and to save money for his eventual return home, despite Kosovo's uncertain future.
