In a new series, Jamie Owen explores the Islands of Wales to find out out what life is like for the people who live and work on them. This week he visits South Stack and Holy Island, off Anglesey. He begins by descending 400 steps to South Stack lighthouse, where he meets the Trinity House inspection team and finds out what it's like to respond to an alarm call in the middle of a storm. Throughout his journey, Jamie chats to the people he meets along the way; from holidaying families determined to take a break from gadgets and embrace the outdoors, to birdwatchers armed with binoculars.

Jamie Owen completes his summer trip around the islands of Wales by visiting Bardsey Island off the North Wales coast. After a bumpy boat journey on a rough sea, Jamie sets off to explore the island - first stop a cup of tea. Jamie is given a tour of the island and introduced to the compost toilets and the wash stand.
