The odds-on favorite is old Heppenstall, who has inadvertently distorted the odds by losing half his notes on the previous Sunday and consequently preached a falsely abbreviated sermon. His full sermon is guaranteed to last an hour. The odds fluctuate. It's a wild race, culminating in a loss for Bertie. But a win for the inimitable Jeeves.
