The story of actor Jack Warner, who played the nation's favourite bobby (George Dixon) for over 20 years, presented by Peter Byrne who starred alongside him as Andy Crawford.

Warner might be best remembered as Dixon of Dock Green, but he was also a hugely successful variety entertainer and film star. By 1950, he was already attracting more people to the pictures than any other actor.
