The Lucerne Festival Orchestra is a true army of generals formed from the cream of Europe's foremost ensembles, the core of which is the Mahler Chamber Orchestra. And the Lucerne Academy, largely devoted to new music, is made up of some of the best young musicians to be found anywhere.
