A festival of lying takes place every year in Wasdale in the Lake District. Comedian Sue Perkins attempts to beat the locals to win the coveted World's Biggest Liar Competition.
Contestants have to speak for five minutes before a boisterous audience on a local subject. They are judged by a panel of experts for their ability to pull the wool over the eyes of the assembled crowd.
