Aspiring DJ Asif Ahmed drags Barry from Room 1A to act as on-air posse in his radio show.

Series of comedies developed with the Comedians Theatre Company

by Dave Florez

The first in a new series of comedies developed with the Comedians Theatre Company.

DJ Asif (Adil Ray) has dragged Barry (Roy Hudd) out of his room to act as on air 'posse' in his Lake Vista Care Home radio show. But can Barry and Asif hold it together in the cupboard next to the vending machine, and make the kind of radio magic which will propel Asif all the way to a photocopying placement with Chris Evans?

Produced and Directed by Jonquil Panting

Adil Ray is best known as the writer and star of BBC 1's Citizen Khan, but he's been everything from a star DJ in his own right on Radio 2 and the BBC Asian Network, to presenting documentaries for BBC 3 and Radio 4, and reporting on football and cricket for Radio 5 Live and Test Match Special.

Roy Hudd has been a famous face in showbiz for over fifty years, as a comedian, writer, actor and entertainer, in everything from variety, musicals, Shakespeare and Stoppard, to soaps, sitcoms, and the dramas of Dennis Potter, not to mention the record-breaking News Huddlines.
