Julia Morris, Gina Yashere and Lucy Porter, three of the most feisty and talented stand-ups on the comedy circuit, join forces to form Radio 2’s first all-female comedy team.

Combining the 'sensibility of Vogue with the sensitivity of Viz', The Powder Room gives a female take on a whole range of topical issues, with a blend of improv, sketches, stand-up and ritual humiliation of the studio audience.

Julia Morris has appeared in 'You Say Tomato', 'Parsons And Naylor' and 'Happiness'; Gina Yashere in 'The Comedy Store', 'Up Late With Gina Yashere', 'The Lenny Henry Show' and 'Comic Relief Does Fame Academy'; and Lucy Porter in 'Broken News', 'The Comedy Store' and 'Armando Iannucci’s Charm Offensive'.

• Promoted as "The first all female show on Radio 2" - though only the presenters, some of the crew and some of the writers were [are still I guess] male, and the series Heated Rollers seven year before was on Radio 2 and had an all female line-up.
