20211018 (R2)
This year marks 10 years since the tragic passing of singer and artist, Amy Winehouse, one of the UK's greatest music talents. Her story has been well told over the years, but now looking back, her legacy lives on. Amy led the way as a British female voice in reaching a worldwide audience. Although hugely talented in their own right, many of today's biggest artists recognise this contribution to their own careers, including multi award winning singer-songwriter Adele.

In the first episode of this two-part special we celebrate Amy's life and legacy, taking a trip down memory lane playing songs from her two phenomenal albums, and we hear from UK female artists Jessie Ware, Ella Henderson and Alexandra Burke - sharing their favourite songs and memories of Amy and her music. They also discuss how she influenced them and helped open doors for them in their own careers, and look back on some of Amy's career highlights including her record breaking Grammy Awards win in 2008.

06Celine Dion From A To Z2019092220200405 (R2)
20211107 (R2)
She's one of the most successful recording artists of all time. She's sold nearly 250 million albums in a career spanning more than 35 years. She's the voice behind two of the most well-known motion picture soundtracks ever created. She became a Las Vegas icon and changed the place 'where singers went to die' forever. But there's still more to Celine Dion's story.

As she embarks on a major new tour ahead of the release of her 27th studio album, she's recorded a brand new interview - the longest of her career - exclusively for Radio 2 in which she discusses a variety of career-encompassing subjects from A to Z.

Topics include C for Concerts, E for Eurovision (which she won in 1988), H for haute couture, M for Motherhood, and R for her late husband, Rene Angelil.

The programme includes her hits: The Power of Love, My Heart Will Go On, It's All Coming Back To Me Now, Tell Him, All By Myself, Think Twice and Flying On My Own. Also featured are key album tracks and select fan favourites.

But at its centre is an intimate, powerful and candid interview with an artist at the top of her game.
