As we celebrate his 80th birthday, Sir Ray Davies is interviewed, on BBC Radio, by Janice Long, Jools Holland, Matt Everitt, Mark Goodier, Tom Robinson and the late Steve Wright about his prolific career as one of our greatest ever songwriters and performers. Starting with his teenage years, we look at the formation of The Kinks, from their first gig in Oxford and early chart success in the 1960s onwards.
