Roger recounts his memories of moving to America with Dorothy Squires to pursue his dream of becoming a big name; his first job on US television; and getting married to Dot in New Jersey.

He also recalls being signed to MGM; starring in movies such as 'The Last Time I Saw Paris' alongside Elizabeth Taylor and Van Johnson; working with Ava Gardner, Debbie Reynolds and Vic Damone; his first movie with David Niven; and being taught how to kiss 'properly' by Lana Turner.

On returning to the UK, he stars in 'Ivanhoe', alongside a German-speaking Christopher Lee; is surprised by a young Elvis Presley, and allows his heart to take him far from Dorothy and into the next phase of his life.
