Dramatised by Robin Brooks. At a CHRISTMAS party, the young Rebecca West meets a mysterious stranger. Literary passions, among others, are aroused and questions raised about the nature of the ghost story. A challenge is proffered and a battle of wits begins. Rebecca West has begun a battle with a saturnine literary opponent - who can tell the best ghost stories? She and a friend have also been challenged to stay a night in a haunted room.
