Jack's no stranger to Radio 2 having played numerous live sessions including Ken Bruce's Radio 2 Piano Room, Dermot O'Leary (Saturday 8am - 10pm) and Jo Whiley (7pm - 9pm)
And more recently his own show - Jack Savoretti's Seasonal Soundtrack.
The Italian-British acoustic singer began playing guitar at the age of 16 and he's released six studio albums to date. His most recent album, Jack Savoretti - Europiana' is the follow-up to Jack's breakthrough 2019 album Singing to Strangers', his third consecutive gold seller and first UK number one. While that album was recorded in Rome at Ennio Morricone's studio, this new disc was conceived in between lockdowns at Jack's Oxfordshire home.
Once again, Cam Blackwood (George Ezra, London Grammar, Florence & The Machine), has produced the album, recorded at Abbey Road with Jack's longtime touring band. John Oates plays guitar and sang backing vocals, from Nashville, on the lush When You're Lonely'.
Jack's playlist of amazing music featuring Aretha Franklin, Elton John and more!
