When celebrated jazz trumpeter Joss Moody dies, his wife Millie, besieged by the press, goes to ground in a secluded Scottish fishing village.

Their adopted son Coleman, alone in LONDON, tries to confront the truth - the man whom he believed to be his father was in fact a woman.
