PRE:Stolen car burst through army checkpoint on western outskirts of Belfast shortly before midnight. Peake, the driver found dead, Reilly died soon afterwards. Reilly (Karen's father) - just out for a joy-ride - army knew it - yet still used automatic weapons on them. Cope: had they stopped at the checkpoint, would have been arrested, and so on. "They were not shot for joy-riding". West: soldiers from parachute regiment being questioned. OTN:T 75728
