A comic tale of passion, ballroom dancing and male voice choirs set in South Wales in the 1930s.
Marty sings like a baritone angel in the local male voice choir where his friends, Handel Hughes the Flues and Willie Silcox, sage and philosopher, try to keep him on the straight and narrow.
However, Marty is not just big and strong but fatally naïve so he ignores their advice and succumbs to the blandishments of Ursula Thowley.
