Poet and historian James Crowden inherited a walking stick formerly belonging to 19th-century author Thomas De Quincey, author of Confessions of an English Opium Eater.

Accompanied by biographer Grevel Linop, he takes it home via Edinburgh to Wordsworth's Dove Cottage.
