Plus highlights from performances by Malian guitarist Afel Bocoum and Mozambique's Mabulu, and impromptu live performances from the Radio 3 WOMAD studio.

Lucy Duran introduces a performance by Zimbabwe's Oliver Mtukudz and his band Black Spirits, whose music is rooted in the mbira (thumb piano) tradition of Zimbabwe, with lyrics addressing contemporary issues such as sexual abuse, Aids and hunger. / Andrew McGregor and Lucy Duran present the third of four live visits to the WOMAD Festival in Reading. Featuring sets by the Afro-Cuban All Stars and Armenian duduk flute player Djivan Gasparyan. Plus music from Senegal's Cheikh Lo, Rwandan singer Cecile Kayirebwa, Cuba's Cachaito Lopez and Spanish flamenco singer Jose Merce.
